ZLC ROOM
SCHEDULER -- Overview
The ZLC Room Scheduler (ZRS) is a specialized program designed to make it easy to maintain and track a community's events calendar, including all of the necessary conflict-checking to prevent double-bookings. It allows easy selection of any set of events for focused work and reporting. It produces agendas, lists and calendar-format reports of the events. The ZRS system has been sold nationwide for over seven years, with constant improvements and adjustments: it is now a fully proven, solid, and popular program.
The ZLC Event Planning system (ZEP) starts with the ZRS and adds additional specialized screens of data for different types of events. So it is the events scheduling system plus all kinds of additional information for each event. This includes such things as room rental details, food menu items and fees, attendee status and information, and much more.
ZRS always starts at the Main Menu screen: TODAY, ADD, CHANGE, REPORTS, SETUP, and EXIT. You will mostly work in ADD to book new events into your schedule, and in CHANGE to view, change, or publish your existing schedule.
Actually, there are two parts to using the ZLC Room Scheduler: the first is the configuration and setup phase; the second is just running the system to build and publish your calendars and schedules. The former is more complicated, then once that part is done, you can then fairly easily run the system on an on-going basis.
ZRS has no capacity or flexibility limitations. Every lookup list is user-defined and can be changed at any time.
